Typed cards on an infinite canvas
Nine first-class card shapes: Brief, Audience, Insight, Plan, Email, Creative, and Result. Each is a markdown or HTML doc with metadata. Machines reason over the structure while you read the prose.
See it workThe visual canvas where your AI agent builds campaigns: research, personas, emails, and results, all as structured cards on one persistent board.
Close the tab. Come back next week. The canvas remembers, and so does the agent, because it reads the board back. Everything is structured the way a marketer actually thinks and builds a campaign, with audiences, briefs, drafts, and results laid out as cards you can scan at a glance instead of buried in endless notes and text documents.

See it workConnect Claude, ChatGPT, Cowork, or any MCP client. Your agent already has your stack wired up, so it writes cards while you chat. Plainpaper never wraps, resells, or proxies a model.
See it workEmail campaigns and Meta ad creatives land on the board as finished, uploadable assets. Review each one with the lineage that shaped it: the audience, the insight, the plan. Then approve. Nothing leaves until you say so.
See it workEvery card can link to others with typed edges like informs, produces, targets, and measured by. Your agent reads the graph, and you see the lineage from research to result, drawn on the canvas.
See it workHold work-in-progress and production-ready content side by side: HTML emails, images, video, and ad creative. When you approve, your agent pulls the asset and pushes it through the destination's own tools.
See it workDrop results and figures onto the board during and after a campaign. Those numbers become the research that fuels your next board, on the same canvas or a fresh one. Nothing you learn gets thrown away.
See it workGrab one of the proven playbooks for a head start, with the phases, starter cards, and agent guidance already in place. Or open a blank board and shape it your own way when you want full freedom. Either way, a board works as both a desktop for the campaign in front of you and a guide your agent follows.
Seed cards for a brief, a primary audience, a plan, and a ready-to-edit email, all pre-linked. The agent guidance is baked in: draft only finished deliverables, request approval once, and never ship from Plainpaper. The flagship board for solo and in-house ecommerce marketers.
Sequence a launch across email and social: warm-up, reveal day, then last-call, with launch checklist cards your agent keeps on track and your team can read at a glance.
Welcome, win-back, and post-purchase flows as connected card sequences. The agent keeps each message in sync with the audience and the offer behind it.
Store and approve ad creatives on the board, map each one to the audience it targets, and pull spend results back to the plan, so the next set of creatives is grounded in data instead of guesswork.
New playbooks ship regularly. Build your own flow once and save it as a private template for your whole workspace.

Talk to your agent the way you already do. Every output lands on the canvas, typed and connected, in real time. You see the agent's cursor move and cards appear. Close the chat, open it a week later, and the agent reads the board back and picks up with full context.
Plainpaper holds the rationale and the assets, not your passwords. When you approve an email or an ad creative, your agent retrieves it and pushes it out through the destination's own integration: Mailchimp, Meta, or your ESP. Plainpaper gates and remembers. It never sends.
Point Claude, ChatGPT, or Cowork at the Plainpaper MCP server. One URL, two minutes. Your agent already carries the rest of your stack.
Start a board from a playbook template and tell your agent what you're running. It researches, drafts audiences, and writes emails and creative. Each one lands as a typed card in real time.
Rearrange, edit, approve. Your agent pushes approved assets through your tools and writes the results back as cards that fuel the next board.
Whiteboards like Miro are built to stop at the idea: sticky notes, mood boards, a space to brainstorm and prototype. Plainpaper does both. It takes you from that first prototype all the way to finished emails, ads, and creative you can drop straight into your marketing channels, one-to-one, no rebuild in another tool.
Spotting the right tool before everyone else is what sharp marketers do, and you just did it. We're building PlainPaper for people exactly like you, and we want to back you as you push it further. We're early too, so your honest feedback is what turns the rough edges into the product you actually want. Here's where things stand, with nothing dressed up.

Plainpaper is the shared, persistent workspace for AI-driven marketing. It's the canvas where your AI agent builds a campaign (research, audiences, insights, plans, emails, creative, results) as structured, typed cards on one infinite board. The agent does the heavy lifting while you steer, edit, and approve. It lives outside the chat, so it stays readable and never scrolls away.
No. Plainpaper is not an AI provider. You bring your own agent via MCP: Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Cowork, ChatGPT, or any other MCP-compatible client. The model leads the work, and Plainpaper is the durable workspace those chats write into.
A board is both a working desktop and a proven playbook. Start one from a template (the Ecommerce Campaign board is live now) and the phases (Research → Audience → Strategy → Create → Launch → Measure), starter cards, and agent guidance are already in place. Your agent follows the methodology step by step while you watch it fill in. More official playbooks are on the way, and you can save your own as a private template.
Yes. You can upload and store images, video, and ad creative on the board alongside HTML email campaigns, with drafts and production-ready assets side by side. Each asset can sit in an approval gate with the lineage that shaped it, so you sign off before anything goes out. Dedicated Meta ad creative deliverables are next on the roadmap.
It doesn't, directly. Your tools connect to the agent through their own native MCP servers or APIs. Plainpaper is the context and memory layer, not the integration layer, and it never holds your credentials. When your agent pushes an approved email or ad, it calls that platform itself, and Plainpaper is where the asset and the rationale live.
On the board. Your agent writes results and figures back as Result cards, linked to the plan and assets they measured. The board doubles as a flexible dashboard during and after a campaign, and those numbers become the research that fuels your next board, on the same canvas or a fresh one.
Card bodies are plain markdown. Export your workspace and you get a tree of .md files plus a JSON manifest with card metadata and connections. No proprietary format, no goodbye tax.
Yes. The free tier gives you 1 workspace, 3 boards, 50 cards, and 1 editor. That's enough to build one real campaign end to end and feel the value before you decide to pay.
For the canvas itself, no. It's drag, click, and type. To connect your agent via MCP, you do a one-time setup in Claude Desktop, Cowork, or your client of choice that's about as involved as adding a browser extension. We'll walk you through it.
